Bio
So...they (District) released one of THE best records of the last ten years in the ironically titled "Don´t mess with the hard punx", a catchy, all-killer-no-filler album which best showcased their mutation from basic streetpunk to pop genius. Marc Ader´s wonderfully camp vocals coupled with Pascal Briggs´superb song-writing skills brought to mind bands like The Undertones and The Buzzcocks, or, more recently, the sadly missed Exploding Hearts........and they split up!! Luckily for us, these hard punx, from Bochum in Germany, crawled back from wreckage a few months later, adapted their name to reflect the change in line-up, and got back to business, recruiting a couple of The Revolvers (their sister-band, so to speak, as the two bands shared almost the same line-up) to augment the numbers. 2nd DISTRICT have, thank f, managed to retain the good old-fashioned punk suss of District, along with a hint of glam stemming from The Revolvers, all culminating in a glittery explosion of wonderful, sing-a-long guitar rock, which reflects the fact that this bands´ influences are drawn not only from old 70s punk pioneers, but also from the likes of the Rolling Stones, Slade, Bowie and more besides. With the first single, Young and Disorderly (released earlier 2006), we´ve had a taster from the new long player Emotional Suicide, and it tastes good, baby, mmmm... 13 new songs including a welcome blast from the past High Society or the new numbers and a couple of inspired covers, including beefed-up version of the old Wayne County classic "Stuck On You" or Canada`s Forgotten Rebels with I Think Of Her. Make sure you saved some money for their new upcoming record and live appearances!!

"You're an ap-ap-ap-apocolypse". You guys spelled apocolypse wrong (opportunist?). I might actually spend money on you guys! I think the 7" songs are broken - where can I find a copy?
